What One Must Include in a Prenup Agreement

Issues and other concerns about the finances and community property may be established in a prenuptial agreement contract. Apart from the advantages and benefits, a prenuptial agreement may reflect the spending of money following the marriage. Not only that, provisions saying that one may pay for the other's expenses can also be included, as well as the need of establishing a joint bank account.

However, there are unpredictable scenarios that can bring issues. A follow-up provision regarding the couple's children custody agreement may not right away be placed in the prenuptial agreement. Even though this is not allowed in a lot of states, one can even waive his right to get spousal support following a divorce. Paying for tax liabilities, mortgages and the like can also be included in the prenuptial agreement contract.
